It was indeed a night to remember, with all the dancing, the songs, the theatre, the spoken word. The jam at the end saw us all on the dance floor, playing acoustically as fiddlers Murray Campbell and Alasdair Fraser led the pack on a merry fray. The kind folks at the Miner's Foundry have invited us to do it again next Saint Paddy's Day, which will be on a Friday in 2006. Stay tuned!
We would like to thank all the many wonderful folks and businesses who made the Halla Na Cloch Pub such a great party: The Miner's Foundry, KVMR, SPD, the Union, the Center for the Arts, The Briar Patch, The Bookseller, Yabobo, Barry Boniface and Butch Thresh of Music in the Mountains, Charlie Brock, Tom Taylor, John Button, Margo Meridith, and many volunteers including Nancy Cunningham, Pam Hodges, Mark Kewman, Leona Scanlan, Jan and John Pellizzer, Kathy and Mike Prescott, and Bitney Springs High School students Jai Anderson, Kate Skeen, and Brianna Moore.
Endless gratitude goes to all of the great performers. Barry Angell, Sally Ashcraft, Murray Campbell, Liana Campus, Erinn Clancy, Rudy Darling, Margot Duxler, Susheela Farrell, Diane Fetterly, Alasdair Fraser, Pete and Phyllis Grant, Sands Hall, Doug Haussler, Tarney Haussler, Annie O'Dea Hestbeck, Carol Kliss-Meals, Eileen Jorgensen, Tony and Karen Loro, Ann Meiggs, Margo and Jonathan Meredith, Sage Po, Karen Leigh Sharp, Greg Sharp, Kathyrn Smith, Lisa Strozzi Stine, Tynowyn, Loraine Webb, and Bryn Wilson all created magic which filled the Stone Hall that night.

2004 Small Wonder Release Party

Thanks to all who attended the Winter Solstice Concert at Cooper's in Nevada City. Thanks to John Button on the board, the sound was as good as it gets at Coopers, which was much very much appreciated by the band and the audience. We were fortunate to have Margot Duxler drive all the way up from San Francisco to recreate her lovely playing from the CD. Look for Margot to be appearing with her once upon a time group, Golden Bough, at their 25th anniversary concerts coming up in 2005. Thanks to the ever graceful Tony and the lovely Eileen we had amazing dancing that night. Eileen as usual taught the reel to willing participants. The ceilidh afterwards was a great success with many great songs and tunes presented. The gorgeous decorating by Shawn and Maggie (red plaids, candelabras, ivy covered mic stands, and twinkle lights) caused event producer Mikail Graham to state that from now on anyone who plays at Cooper's has to decorate as well!
Once again, thanks to everyone who came, sang, danced, played, and bought CD's! And thanks to everyone else who has bought copies of Small Wonder.
